I am curious about your feelings about the government giving away $8,000 to first time home buyers.  The government also defines firsttime home buyers as anyone who has not owned a home in the last three years.  Being a REALTOR, I am encouraging buyers to take advantage of the program.. Being a taxpayer, I am wondering why I had to save money for a downpayment and other people get the government (we, the people) to give them the downpayment, all in the name of commerce.  I believe we call this a redistribution of the wealth–our wealth, by the way.  Your thoughts?
